Sean Power, MPT, MSc, BSc
Sean began his physiotherapy journey with PhysioFit during his senior student placement that merged into a licensed physiotherapy residency.
Sean grew up in Windsor attending Holy Names high school and then the University of Windsor for both Bachelor and Master degrees in Biological Sciences. His thesis research focused on how energy-regulating hormones influence muscle and fat metabolism. Sean successfully completed his physiotherapy degree at Western University in London, ON.
He strives to develop and mold an individualized treatment plan consisting of education, manual therapy, and exercise that target one’s goals and passions, while empowering clients of all ages and conditions to actively engage in their own rehabilitation. He also has a special interest in pursuing various professional development courses including prevention and rehabilitation of running injuries, concussion management, and dry needling therapy.
Sean grew up playing competitive sports including hockey, football, track and field, and soccer. In addition to recreational sports, running, and weightlifting, he also enjoys backcountry camping and hiking, snowboarding, reading crime novels, and board game nights with family.
